A Band Named Sue and Some Great SAX!

We had a super show last night at the Mean Eyed Cat. We brought in a special guest to play tenor sax, Mike Stinnett. Mike came to us through an ad that Andy posted in the chronicle almost a year ago. I guess all the stars were aligned and the relationship was born. Mike took the show to next level and I think that we had as much fun playing with him as our fans did listening. It certainly added a special dynamic to the performance. Mike will be joining us for more shows in the future.

We also invited the lovely and talented Pamela Ryder to the stage to smack that proverbial ass! Pamela brought down the house, as she usually does. It's always a pleasure Ms. Ryder. Pam is going to be doing some shows at the Mean Eyed Cat and The Hole in the Wall. If you haven't had a chance to see her do her THANG, you better check it out.

Last night we debuted two Beatles songs, If I Fell and I Should have Know Better. Dr Hoyle and I have been working on our John and Paul impersonations. From the response from the audience I think that we pulled it off.

I was able to video the show along with recording the audio digitally. I mastered the audio last night and it sounds really good. I'll try to put together at least one clip that I will link to on the blog, hell we might just v-cast the whole thing!
