A Band Named Sue gets ENERGIZED!

Last night A Band Named Sue had the honor of entertaining the great folks from the Department of Energy. Apparently each year the Department puts together a convention and this year it just happened to take place at the Radisson Hotel right on the beautiful Town Lake. We took the stage at 7:00 and brought down the house with a little Folsom Prison Blues. It was nothing but booty shakin for the rest of the night. After a quick break and a little "re-fuelin" we brought up the lovely Ms. Pamela Ryder. Pamela brought down the house and raised the standard for all female vocalists in this great city of Austin. Over all it was a ton of fun and we hope the Department had as much fun as we did. Next up . . .The White House 2008!




Since we all had on our Sunday best we attempted to take a publicity photo. I'm not sure what happened to Andy . . .





Andy's friend from back East, Webber, sat in on the bass. This was the suit that Andy wore to his wedding. Platform shoes optional!
